Autodesk Releases Q3 2009 Financial Results
Autodesk (November 17, 2009) reported revenue of $416.9 million for Q3 FY 2010 a decrease of 31% percent from Q3 2009 revenue of $607.1 million. Net income was $29.5 million vs $104.5 million for the same quarter last year, a decrease of 72%. Autodesk’s stock sank in after hours trading to a low of $24.48, down more than 9% for the day.

AVEVA Reports Half Year Revenue for P/E September 30, 2009
AVEVA ( November 12, 2009) reported half year revenue of £69.9 ($111.8) million down 7% y/y from £74.8 ($133.2) million. License revenue was £63.6 ($101.7) million down 8% y/y from £68.8 ($122.5) million. Recurring license revenue grew 19% to £47.4($75.8) million and new license revenue declined 44% to £16.9 ($25.7) million from the same period last year. Asia Pacific, which makes up 34% of total revenue or £23.5 ($37.6) million declined 24%, the newly combined EMEA region, which makes up 49% of revenue or £34.4 or ($55.1) million, declined 3% and Americas, which makes up 17% of revenue or £12 ($19.2)million, rose 15% with strong sales in Brazil and weak sales in North America including Canada. Net revenue was £15.5 ($24.9) million down 25% from 2008 revenue of £20.6 ($36.7) million

Autodesk Licenses ISOGEN(R) Technology From Intergraph
Autodesk (November 11, 2009 announced it has entered into a long-term OEM licensing agreement with Intergraph® to embed Intergraph ISOGEN® technology for automatic production of piping isometrics and bills of materials into AutoCAD Plant 3D 2010.
